Celebrating Portland's Rose Festival OSU Style

On Saturday, June 11, OSU President’s Circle members enjoyed the Portland Rose Festival’s Grand Floral Parade out in front of OSU's Portland Center. Participants were treated to lunch, OSU keepsakes, and reserved seating along the parade route.

OSU KidSpirit, Benny the Beaver, and a balloon artist helped make the day’s festivities even more special, with fun activities, balloon animals, and photo opportunities for both kids and adults.

To view more photos from the day or to download and share them, please visit the OSU Foundation's Picasa site.

Considered one of the nation’s most spectacular floral exhibits, this year’s Grand Floral Parade featured 14 all-floral floats, 17 marching bands, 19 equestrian units, and many other special entries.

We hope you will join Oregon State University President’s Circle members in Portland for other cultural, academic, and social events in the coming year.

Thanks to generous supporters like you, Oregon State University is becoming a leader in Portland!
